Funraising fun for parents only

SPARTA — The Middle School PTO spends much of its time planning events for middle school children. This event is different - it’s for parents only. On Feb. 3, the PTO is holding a Parents Night Out. It runs from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Starting with a full buffet dinner, the night will continue with the hilarious comedy of Mike Morse. Morse has been featured on MTV, VH-1 and Comedy Central. The night doesn’t end there — parents can dance the night away with music from the local 80s band, Member’s Only. There will also be a handful of luxury tricky trays to bid on, including a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds earned from this event will go directly to enrichment materials and events at the Sparta Middle School.
