Culinary arts students, from left, Lindley Thacker, Angela DiCarlo and Jeremy Davis show off their first taste sensation of the school year. They collaborated on a four-layered birthday cake made with the finest ingredients—fresh whipped cream, petite chocolate chips and strawberry glaze—all made from scratch. Chef Lynn Drosos is also introducing heart-healthy, low-calorie delicacies to the menu this year.
