The Edward Michaels Trio is at Momento

Back by popular demand, the Edward Michaels Trio is appearing at Momento Restaurant on Thursday Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. Edward Michaels has been performing for over 40 years, playing piano for artists such as Tony Orlando, Frankie Lane, Jack Albertson, and the Coasters. He has a smooth, appealing jazz style, playing many of the standard tunes of Cole Porter and Irving Berlin. He has also been a guest, along with drummer Bob Nitkin, on the Steve Ames cable television show. Nitkin, the drummer for the trio, is an accomplished performer who has been associated with some of the big bands and drummer Joe Morello. He currently judges for the annual Guitar Center Drum-Off. A new addition to the trio is Ron Naspo on bass. Ron is an accomplished performer and teacher of srting bass. Ron is active in both the symphonic and jazz fields. He has performed and toured the United States and Canada with Robert Joffrey, and later with the Don Shirley Trio. Momento Restaurant is located at 374 Morsetown Road in West Milford.
