Valentine dinner will raise funds for Father John's

    Will unveil renovation plans at the same time SPARTA — Father John’s Animal House will be holding its Annual Beefsteak Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 11 (snow date Feb. 12) at Pope John XXIII High School in Sparta. The fundraiser is being held to provide medical care and food for the dogs and cats being housed at the shelter. During the event Father John’s Animal House will unveil the architectural plans for a renovated shelter and announce the start of the building campaign. Included in the campaign are a 3-for-1 Challenge Grant and various naming opportunities. The dinner is being catered by The Brownstone of Paterson. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with DJ Sebastian Monte providing the music for the evening. The cost of admission is $50 per person which includes an all-you-can-eat beefsteak dinner, beer, wine and soda. There will be a 50/50, small tricky tray and auction. The 50/50 tickets are $50 with the winning ticket being pulled at the dinner. The winner does not have to be present.
