William J. Robertson of Sparta, N.J., passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020. He was 49.
Will was born in Dade County, Fla., and grew up in East Rutherford, Lyndhurst, and Verona, N.J., before moving to Sparta in 1999. He worked in IT security, previously at Mars in Mt. Olive and most recently at the STI Group in Glen Rock, N.J.
He was a former member of the Lake Mohawk Golf Club. He coached Sparta Rec Basketball and Sparta Girls Softball for many years. He even created his own Softball Club team called The Sparta Storm, which he was very proud of.
Will loved the Jets, fishing, golf, and watching his daughters play sports. What made Will most happy was being a devoted dad to his beloved daughters, Amanda and Jillian. They were his world.
In addition to his daughters, he is survived by his devoted former wife, Tricia (Skorupski) Robertson. He will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be held privately under the direction of Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871.
