2nd Annual Powderpuff Derby

SPARTA — The Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey's Sterling Mohawk Service Unit held their 2nd Annual Powderpuff Derby on Jan. 7 at the United Methodist Church in Sparta. With the help of parents, Girl Scouts from kindergarten to high school made a car and raced it in the derby. The Powderpuff Derby is a major money-earning event for the Sterling Mohawk Service Unit, which organizes troops, events and activities for Girl Scouts in the Sparta/Ogdensburg area and surrounding communities.
