County college to host forum on economic development Nov. 10

Newton - Sussex County builders and developers will have an opportunity for local networking and information sharing at an SCEDP investor breakfast, beginning at 8 a.m. on Nov. 10 at Sussex County Community College Theater. The event is sponsored by the Sussex County Economic Development Partnership. Partnership President Tammie Horsfield will facilitate a roundtable panel discussion with representatives from Sussex County’s builder and developer community, companies whose products and services are based in commercial development, or whose operating processes are heavily impacted by commercial development. The forum will examine the current climate for commercial development in Sussex County, and touch on a broad range of current and future business issues including competitiveness, legislative restrictions, key benefits of doing business in Sussex County, partnering and other topics raised by forum participants.
