FREDON — Children who attend the Kids Educational Enrichment Program (K.E.E.P.) at Fredon have been satisfying their curiosity for Egypt by learning about pyramids, hieroglyphics, and Egyptian culture. They culminated their Egyptian activities by wrapping themselves up as mummies with toilet paper. K.E.E.P offers 14 after school and 10 before school programs located in 15 different schools throughout Sussex County. All of the children who attend K.E.E.P. receive homework assistance, a snack and participate in arts and crafts, games, sports and outside play. Childcare is available for children aged six weeks to six years at K.E.E.P.’s main facility in Sparta. Children who attend K.E.E.P. receive personalized attention and care while participating in educational and enriching activities that teach social, emotional and cognitive growth. Holiday care, snow day care, and summer camp are offered for school age children. Scholarship assistance is available for all qualified applicants.
