Local Democrats launch new Web site

Branchville — The Sussex County Democratic Committee has launched a new Web site at www.sussexdems.com. The newly designed site will help connect the committee with its expanding, more youthful and technologically savvy membership, according to Democratic Chairperson Mike Busche. The Sussex County Democratic Party has experienced incredible growth over the past four years. Since 2007, the number of registered Democrats in our county has increased by more than 75 percent. With membership getting larger, younger and more reliant on online media, the Sussex County Democratic Committee's leadership made the development of an enhanced Web site a high priority for this year. I am pleased to see our strategic vision become a reality just in time for the November election.” Committee secretary Jerry Sattin detailed how the Committee adopted the latest features in Web site design and technology. "I envision our Web site as a daily stop for those wishing to keep abreast of the happenings of the party.” “The future has never been brighter for the Democratic Party here in Sussex County,” Busche said. “Our best days are ahead of us.” There are currently more than 16,000 registered Democrats residing in Sussex County.
