— Mad Science of Morris and Sussex has partnered with the Sparta PAL this summer to offer science camps to elementary age children 5-10. Parents and their children are invited to attend their first Open House Summer Camp Preview on Thursday, June 2, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Sparta PAL Building, 38 Station Road, Sparta.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see some of the activities for the various camps that will be offered from the end of June through August. Children will learn about space in the NASA Academy of Future Space Explorers, have fun mixing up different concoctions in Slimy Potions, use their creativity in Inventors Acadamy, and have a have a chance to put their engineering hats on in Brixology, a Lego based structures camp.
"We are excited to offer our newest camp Brixology," said Joe Pszonek, owner of Mad Science of Morris and Sussex. "Our franchise collaborated with Lego to create this new engineering based brick program which extends beyond just using Legos. Mad Science has also been partnering with NASA the past eight years for our always popular space themed camp."
Mad Science will be extending a 10 percent discount off all in-person camp registrations for those who attend and book at the open house. Door prizes and special gifts will be given for campers who bring a friend who also registers.
