New website for Newton business group

NEWTON — The Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 75th anniversary and we are proud to announce a new website and a new focus in our support of our local businesses in the greater Newton area.
As we look back on the years, the Newton Chamber has been the face of business in the Newton area. Bringing business leaders and owners together, providing opportunities for the public and businesses to interact. Over time, the GNCC grew to where it could even give back to the community in the form of scholarships to our high school graduates and decorations for Newton in the form of flowers, flags and wreaths on the street lamps.
However, the Board felt, we had to do more for business in the digital era to connect the public with our members. We created our website to put a new face on business for the greater Newton area. A true Business Directory that local citizens and visitors can search. Every GNCC member has not just a link and contact info, but a page to fill with pictures and text describing their products or services. Visitors can read the details of a business, send members a message and visit their websites.
