Support group for men

NEWTON — The Center for Prevention and Counseling is now offering a unique support group for men. Led by a male, who is a certified alcohol and drug counselor, participants will discuss different topics such as self-esteem, compassion, forgiveness, balance, relationships, anger management, feeling expression, substance abuse and communication skills. Sessions are held on Fridays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at 61 Spring Street in Newton. The cost per session is $25.
