Volunteers sorely needed

We, the Sussex Branch of LiteracyNJ, provide adults free tutoring in English. We have a waiting list of people in the area--both foreign-born and U.S.-born --who need this help. Therefore we need more volunteer tutors. You do not need to be a teacher. We will train you. We are offering Fall training in flexible form: three in-person sessions, interspersed with online training. The three sessions are on Tuesday nights, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church in Newton: Sept. 24, Oct. 8 and Oct. 22.If you are interested, call 973-300-9444.
