Pedestrian safety campaign

Andover - In an effort to promote pedestrian safety, Andover police are offering free reflective sashes to residents who run, jog, or walk along roadways in the township. The police department is a member of the Safe Kids Northern New Jersey and Northern New Jersey Safe Communities Coalition. The sashes were offered to the department as part of the Coalition’s pedestrian safety campaign. To obtain a free sash, residents can visit the police station or call 973-383-5544. Supplies are limited and sashes are available on first come, first served basis.
