    August 2 At approximately 1:25am, Sergeant John Paul Beebe observed a vehicle traveling south on State Highway Route 15 at an extremely low rate of speed. Patrolman Kurt Morris stopped the vehicle. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of the passenger, Kevin Hendley, 48, o£ Newton. He was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hendley was lodged in the Sussex County Jail on a warrant from of Essex County for non payment of child support. At approximately ll:20 am, Police Detective Mark Rubino and Patrolman Richard Smith observed a vehicle traveling north on State Highway Route 15 with NY license plates and a New Jersey inspection sticker. After stopping the vehicle, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Kathy Jo Hudgins, 26, of Unionville, NY. She was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic syringe, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled and dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and being an unlicensed driver. The passenger, Christopher Lewinson, 19, of Unionville, NY was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic syringe, possession of drug paraphernalia, and allowing a suspended driver to drive. He was lodged in the Sussex County Jail on warrants out of Sparta and Vernon. August 4 At approximately 5:58 p.m., Detective Terrence Mulligan observed a vehicle traveling north on State Highway Route 15 that was following another vehicle too close. After stopping the vehicle, further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Michael Frey, 27, of Matamoras, Penn. He was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a hypodermic syringe, possession of drug paraphernalia, following too close, careless driving, and driving while suspended. He was lodged in the Sussex County jail on a $12,500 bail. A passenger in the vehicle James Wojtaszek, 27, of Port Jervis NY, was also arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe, He was released pending a court date in Sparta court. August 6 At 8:49 p.m. Patrolman Adam Carbery responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Route 15. A vehicle operated By Kyle Neuenhaus, 23, of Vernon) was traveling north on Route 15 when the car left the roadway and struck a rock wall. After a brief investigation, Neuenhaus was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was additionally issued a summons for reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane. Neuenhaus was released pending a municipal court appearance this week.
