    Sussex Tech 4, Hopatcong 1 Sussex Tech swept the doubles and went on to defeat Hopatcong 4-1 in an SCIL girls' tennis match. It was the first team victory for the Mustangs, who dropped their first six matches of the campaign. Sofia Bosio and Ashley Stickle went three sets to defeat Valerie LaMotta and Alicia Plinio 7-5, 2-6. 6-2 in the clash of No. 1 doubles teams. The second duo of Liz Badillo and Angela DeCarlo defeated Prakkash Muir and Melanie Rowbathan 7-5, 6-3. Kelly Garrigan toppled Crystal Fespermann 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 at second singles while Jodi Billitz held on to defeat Ashley Lynch 6-1, 6-7 (3-7), 7-6 (7-3) in the No. 3 singles slot. Sparta 4, High Point 1 Sparta remained unbeaten in the doubles competition as the Lady Spartans defeated High Point 4-1. The top tandem of Michelle Hardy and Carly Mora moved to 10-0 with a 6-1, 6-1 victory ovetr Lauren Bayse and Michelle Hardy. The No. 2 duo of Kate Dowd and Katie Quinn also improved to 10-0 with a 6-1, 6-3 rout of Ashley Jackson and Kaleigh Ralph. Lauren Lyons served blanks in shutting out Rachel Leshinski 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 2 singles match while Trisha Ashmore coasted to a 6-2, 6-1 victory in the third singles slot. Kittatinny 5, Newton 0 Cassie Bobotas posted an easy 6-1, 6-0 victory at first singles to propel Newton to a 5-0 win over Kittatinny. Jywel Almirante won in straight sets in the second singles slot while Katie Bloodgood rallied to win 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 6-3 at third singles.
