Acoustic performance by Petteway and White at SCCC

Newton — Al Petteway and Amy White will perform at Sussex County Community College at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, in the Sussex Bank Theater at Sussex County Community College. Petteway and White are an acoustic performing arts team committed to creating an intensely personal, yet universal sound. They are heard often on NPR, in independent films and on radio shows across the globe. The cultural and natural history of the couple’s home in the Blue Ridge Mountains has been a large influence on their recent recordings, “Winter Tidings,” “Golden Wing,” “Acoustic Journey” and “Land of the Sky.” During their live shows, Petteway and White seek to capture the hearts of their audiences with the love they have for one another and stories about the places, history and events that inspire their music.
