Agriculture scholarships available through Springfest

Augusta —The Springfest committee is currently accepting applications from Sussex County high school seniors who are interested in pursuing their education in one of the many fields relating to agriculture/horticulture. In an effort to maintain Sussex County’s rich history and tradition of agriculture, the annual Springfest gala has raised thousands of dollars for higher education scholarships. This event, held in the gardens at Springfest, has raised thousands of dollars for higher education scholarships. Two scholarships will be awarded this year. The winners will be recognized at the 11th annual agricultural scholarship gala, a celebration of horticulture, on Saturday March 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta.
