‘American Sampler' is the theme of Chorus

Jefferson - The Jefferson Township Community Chorus, under the direction of Robin Van Schaick and accompanied by Margaret Brandell, will present its annual spring concert, “An American Sampler”, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, in Grace Evangelical Free Church on Berkshire Valley Road. The chorus will present a variety of music written by American composers with music from the Revolutionary War, Negro Spirituals, and classics by George Gershwin. Tickets are $5 with children under five admitted free. A reception will be held immediately following the concert, and all are invited to attend and enjoy the refreshments that will be served.
