Andre's Restaurant & Wine Boutique will host a benefit concert

    NEWTON-Singer/songwriter Denny Tilton, along with Tom Delaney, will be performing at Andre's Restaurant & Wine Boutique in Newton as part of a benefit concert to be held on Sunday, Nov. 14. This special benefit concert is for the Maci Morano Special Fund. Morano is the three-year-old daughter of Rebecka Storer, a young woman who died in a tragic accident on July 5 this year while stopping to assist another motorist. All proceeds from these benefit shows will go to the Maci Morano Special Fund. Tilton will be joined in his effort with an lineup of appearances by Patrick Fitzsimmons, Loni Bach, Gary Youngclaus, Brian McArdle and other special guests. A native of New Jersey, Tilton has been performing for his fans for over two decades. He has released three full-length solo CDs. The most recent, last year's "Shoulda Seen The Dream," gained him national attention, was featured in Relix Magazine's "On The Verge," and was elected for a review in Singer Magazine. Tilton's first CD, "Real Life Stories" (1997) earned him the 1998 Best Songwriter Award from the Northwest New Jersey Music Awards Association. Tilton has opened shows for Dave Mason, Roger McGuinn (The Byrds), Moody Blues and Christopher Cross, to name a few. There will be two shows at 6 and 8 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. Advance ticket price is $20. Tickets will be sold at the door for $25.
