Annual Cornfest at Lockwood Farms

Stanhope — On Saturday, July 15, 2006, Lockwood Farms and Her Secret Gardens, located at 35 Rt. 206 & Waterloo Road, in Stanhope will be having their annual Cornfest. This year the celebration will be the arrival of local corn. There will be sampling of fresh cooked corn and all the different preserves and condiments that are sold. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. there will be Jack’s Petting Zoo & Pony Rides, and Nellie The Clown. Balloon making will be from noon to 2 p.m., and the newest attraction an inflatable ride will be provided by Kidz Play, Inc. Also, DJ Mike will be playing summer tunes all day long.
