Association of N.J. Rifle and Pistol Clubs to host NRA Day Sept. 30

Highland Lakes — The Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs is hosting National Rifle Association Day from 9 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 at its Cherry Ridge Range facilities in Highland Lakes. The day is comprised of a series of events designed to safely familiarize non-shooters and new shooters with the wide variety of recreational opportunities presented by the shooting sports. Participants will learn the basics of firearm safety and have the opportunity to experience shotgun, rifle, and pistol shooting under the supervision of experienced, NRA certified instructors. A light breakfast and full lunch will be served and all equipment is provided. There is no charge for this event. It is open to anyone interested in learning about the shooting sports and activities in which NRA members participate. Families and organized groups are particularly welcome.
