Bird club hosts ‘Wildlife of Newfoundland'

    Sparta — The Sussex County Bird Club presents, “The Wildlife of Newfoundland,” by Terry Carruthers, on Friday, Jan. 19. Newfoundland is home to puffins, gannets, moose and caribou, as well as spectacular scenery. Carruthers is a natural history guide and author with a special interest in birds. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. and at the Sparta Ambulance Building on Sparta Ave. Refreshments will be served after the program.
