Bird club to spotlight moth mysteries

Lafayette — The Sussex County Bird Club will be hosting a presentation entitled “The Green Marvel vs. The Horrid Zale - The Sequel,” on Friday, Nov. 17. Following up on their program of two years ago, local naturalists Wade and Sharon Wander will continue to clear up the mysteries that moths present to the layman, via a photo selection of moths from their own Sussex County backyard. The Wanders are regular presenters at the Sussex County Bird Club and are self-employed ecological consultants. They are well-known for being among the most versatile naturalists in New Jersey. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Sparta Ambulance Building on Sparta Ave. in Sparta. Refreshments will be served after the program. All are welcome to attend.
