Black Forest Inn chef to teach free class at ShopRite

Byram — Chef Heinrich Aichem of the famed Black Forest Inn, Stanhope, will demonstrate how to prepare authentic German recipes for those attending the ShopRite of Byram’s Special Fall Class to be held from noon to 3 p.m. in the store on Sunday, Oct. 1, . Participants will enjoy tastings of the preparations. Chef Aichem will prepare: German Potato Leek Soup, Black Forest Maultaschen, Homemade Veal and Spinach Ravioli, Jagerschnitzel Veal Medallions in a Wild Mushroom Sauce and Black Forest Cake. There is no charge for the class, but in-store pre-registration is required. The class is limited to the first 40 registrants.
