Boating safety course open for registration

HOPATCONG — A US Coast Guard-sanctioned boating safety course will be held at the Garden State Yacht Club at 33-43 Point Pleasant Road in Hopatcong on Saturday and Sunday, May 19 and and 20. the course will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $60 per person. The two four-hour session will result in an official NJ Boating Safety Certificate, which is required for all boaters — both power and sail. Coffee, bagels, Danish included. Space is limited.
