Bocce tournament coming to Warwick Valley Winery

Warwick - The Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery will hold its first bocce tournament on Sunday, July 30. Last year, the winery built two regulation size bocce courts, and since then winery guests have enjoyed playing the sport while sipping wine, eating lunch and listening to live music. The event is organized by the Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery Bocce League, and marks their first organized competitive bocce tournament. Registration is open to anyone 12 or older. The registration fee is $10 per player and $20 per team. Each team must consist of two players and is required to register each player prior to competing The registration deadline is 6 p.m., Friday, July 28. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery is open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Winery Café is open Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.. Live music is performed every Saturday and Sunday.
