Build your own robot
WEST MILFORD West Milford Parks and Recreation will be offering a challenging two-day “Advanced Robotics” Sciensational Workshop over spring break. Participants will make and take home their own robot, with motors, wires, controllers and wheels. They will use a computer to program the robot in various program modes. They will also get to build a wide assortment of other robots as time permits, such as Robot Dinosaur, Galactisaurus, Mars Cruiser, Aquabot, Space Copter, Desert Rover, “The Five Foot Tall commander Robot with 5 Motors,” Robo Dog and 6 foot long Crocosaurus Alligator Robot. Participants should get ready for Sumo battles - Battle Box - and Sciensational Workshop’s Build-a-thon. The two-day workshop, Wednesday and Thursday April 12 and 13, will be held in Hillcrest Community Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is designed for children 7 to 12 years of age.
