Cancer patients invited for afternoon tea

NEWTON The Calico Rose Café in Hamburg is inviting any woman currently undergoing cancer treatments to sip tea and listen to a speaker discuss “Personal Stress Management.” The program will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 3 at the Calico Rose Café, 19 Route 23, Hamburg. Pat Kett, a registered nurse, will be the featured speaker. The Calico Rose Café will provide tea and a light meal. Newton Memorial Hospital and the Sparta Cancer Treatment Center are sponsoring the event. Seating may be limited. Call 973-579-8340 to register.
