Centenary Stage Company opens season

Hackettstown — The Centenary Stage Company, located on the campus of Centenary College, Hackettstown, opens its 2006-2007 season with the timeless classic, “She Stoops to Conquer.” The production opens Oct. 6 and runs through Oct. 22. A professional theatre company, it is continuing with its mission of restoring timeless classics to the stage. The show will be directed by producing and artistic director, Carl Wallnau. The show times are Thursdays, 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, 8 p.m., and Sundays 2:30 p.m. There will also be a matinee on Wed. Oct. 11 and 18 at 2:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $20 to $12.50. Thursday evenings the Centenary Stage Company will be offering a family night with 2 for 1 tickets purchased at the door the day of the show.
