“Children of the Star, the Cross, and the Swastika” is lecture by Dwight Davidson

    Holocaust Lecture by Dr. Dwight Davidson at SCCC Newton - Dr. Dwight Davidson will present a Holocaust lecture on Tuesday, April 17, from 10:50 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. “Children of the Star, the Cross, and the Swastika.” Will be in the Sussex Bank Theater at Sussex County Community College. It is an examination of the parallel lives of three children, one Jewish, one Christian, and one a Hitler Youth. These three children were caught up in the whirlwind of the Holocaust at the same time, but from different points of origin, and with very different outcomes. Admission is $3. Davidson is the Assistant Dean of Students for Judicial Affairs at Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a former counselor at Sussex County Community College. Originally from Tennessee, Dwight moved to New Jersey from Israel where he conducted research for eight years. He has studied, taught, and served as an administrator at colleges and universities on three continents for nearly thirty years and holds dual American and Israeli citizenship.
