Christian school to host 5K and family fest

NEWTON — The Northwest Christian School will host the third annual Dora Pedersen 5k and Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 12on the school’s campus located at Route 519 (Newton Halsey Road) in Newton. The race starts at 8 a.m. Registration, course map, directions, and sponsorship information can be found on www.ncsnj.org. Race applications are also available at the main office of NCS, and at gym locations throughout Sussex County. Following the 5k event and awards ceremony, there will be Family Fun Day activities, including inflatable fun, competitive family games, prizes and food concessions — between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. All are welcome.
