Classical pianist to hold recital at SCCC

Newton — Classical pianist Paolo Vairo has performed to great international acclaim for more than a decade. Vairo will make a stop in Sussex County for a performance at Sussex County Community College at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 3. With “brilliant technique, affectionate lyricism, and meticulous dynamic shadings,” Vairo has performed numerous solo recitals throughout the United States and Europe and as a soloist with orchestra. His repertoire includes a wide range of styles from Baroque to Classical. Recital programs include works by J.S. Bach, Beethoven and Schumann. Vairo is currently working on learning the complete piano literature of Robert Schumann The performance will take place in the Sussex Bank Theater at Sussex County Community College. Cost is $5.
