Community players stage one-act plays

    Jefferson — The Jefferson Community Players will be performing three one-act plays in June. They consist of two comedies and a drama. The comedies are “Family Names” and “Pizza: A Love Story,” and the drama is “Nothing in Common.” Ticket prices are $10 for an adult, $5 for seniors (over age 65) and students with an I.D. No children under 12 years of age will be admitted. Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended. Performances will be held on June 10, 11 and 16. The cast members are all participants of the Acting Workshop led by Jean Simonson of Lake Shawnee.
