Parsippany - The Children’s Tumor Foundation is seeking corporate sponsors for its first New Jersey Casino Night scheduled for April 20 at the the Knoll Country Club East. The foundation is the leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to fighting neurofibromatosis (NF), a devastating disorder affecting 1 in 3,500 individuals. NF causes tumors to grow throughout the nervous system, and can cause learning disabilities, blindness, deafness and bone deformities. There is currently no cure, but we are working hard at developing effective treatments. Sparta resident Antonio Danino, 8, was diagnosed with NF, at 6 months of age. He is one of more than 100,000 Americans living with NF. His mother, Susan, is chairperson for this event and hopes to make it an annual fund raiser. She is offering sponsorships at various levels with recognition for each business sponsor. All donations are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.
