BYRAM-ShopRite of Byram's Culinary Workshops will begin again on Monday, Jan. 17, and run through the month of February. The Winter classes include menus that are packed with new ideas that range from a family supper to an elegant dinner party. Also included will be classes devoted to Super Bowl fixings, Valentine's Day, Cheese and a trendy offering and a taste of Thai. Brochures describing the continuing workshops are available in the store now. The "hands-on" workshops are limited to 12 participants; and at the end of each workshop, the "students" sit down and savor the meal they have just prepared. Students may register for one or any number of classes. Each workshop is $20. Chef Thomas O'Brien will again teach the classes. He is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University. Ronetco Supermarkets, Inc., which operates the ShopRite of Byram (located on Route 206 North at Lackawanna Drive) recommends registering early, as previous classes have filled up quickly.
