Digitize your slides at library

Jefferson - The Jefferson Township Historical Society will present “Digitizing Your Slide Collection” Sept. 6, at the Jefferson Township Municipal Building, Weldon Road. If you want to preserve your slides and convert them to a digital format, this program is a great way to begin learning the process. Richard West owner of “West Photo Imaging” will be giving a presentation that will cover an overview of the equipment required to convert slides to digital files; and such issues as pixel, scan resolution and printing resolution: memory, hard drives, color management and workflow. It will be approximately a thirty minute presentation with a question and answer period following. There will be a meeting of the Historical Society at 7:30 p.m.; new members are welcome at that time. The presentation will follow. Refreshments will be served.
