Dinner dance April 1 to benefit county fairgrounds

Andover - An “Evening of Dining and Dancing” will be held on Saturday, April 1, at Farmstead Golf & Country Club on Saturday, April 1. Tickets for the event, sponsored by the executive board of the N.J. State Fair/Sussex County Farm & Horse Show, are $120 per couple. A cocktail hour at will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. with a cash bar. Music for dancing will be provided by “DJ Ray.” Chances on theme baskets will be available throughout the evening. Proceeds will benefit the capital improvements program for the fair. “We are constantly improving our fairgrounds,” said chairwoman Peggy Cofrancesco stated. “To maintain a quality facility that can be utilized year round, we need to plan for maintenance and expansion at the same time. This can be a costly venture.
