Education Foundation to hold fourth annual Taste of the Highlands

    WEST MILFORD — The West Milford Education Foundation is sponsoring the fourth annual Taste of the Highlands dinner at the Lodge at Camp Ocawasin on May 23, 6:30 p.m. This annual event features a variety of food showcasing some of West Milford’s best. This year attendees will have the chance to sample specialties from The Huntsman, Momento’s, The Lodge at Ocawasin, Vito and Joey’s Cable Car Deli, Casa Bianca, Country Roads Deli, Coyote Cove, Dunkin Donuts, Frank’s Pizza and Family Restaurant, Macopin Pizza, Gabriella’s Italian Café, Jean Claude Patisserie, Khun Thon, Labi’D, La Rocca, Le Bistro II, Mama Mia’s Restaurant, Portofino Family Restaurant, SandS Deli, Shoprite, Short Stop Bagels, Arta, Bella Sera, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Town Tavern, the West Milford Diner, Valley View Pub, Vesuvio Pizzeria, and Village Square Inn. There will also be a silent auction of artwork and handcrafted woodworking items donated by students from Macopin Middle School and West Milford High School. The West Milford Education Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-lead organization providing grants to teachers. At the beginning of the school year teachers are given the opportunity to submit a grant request which is evaluated by the Education Foundation’s board of trustees.
