Elks install Zaorski

SPARTA-On March 19, Stanley Zaorski was installed as the new Exalted Ruler of the Sparta Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Zaorski will join Elks from across the country on July 10-14 at the 141st National Grand Lodge Convention, which will vote on key issues and elect national leaders. The Elks are involved in many community programs such as drug awareness, scholarships, help for handicapped children, Soccer Shoot, Hoop Shoot, Veterans Day, Flag Day, and the state's major project, Elks Camp Moore. The Sparta Elks have Sunday breakfast every second and fourth Sunday of the month, from 8 to 11 a.m. Also, during the summer months, the lodge serves Friday night dinners with a children's menu and take out. Visitors are welcome.
