    A Christmas tradition returns to the Lycian Centre Sugar Loaf, N.Y. — The Holiday season will soon be upon us and like other traditions A Christmas Carol returns to the Lycian Centre for the Performing Arts in Sugar Loaf on Friday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. A Christmas Carol, produced by Nebraska Theatre Caravan, is a lavish, full-scale Broadway-style production boasting a large cast and live musicians and has now been touring for over 30 years. This time-tested tale artfully brings to life the England of Charles Dickens and blends his classic story with rousing arrangements of traditional carols like "God Rest Ye' Merry Gentlemen," "Wassail, Wassail," "Good King Wenceslas," "Greensleeves" and others. Combining supernatural with the sentimental, both children and grown-ups alike will be delighted. A Christmas Carol is packed with laughter, pageantry and gorgeous costumes. Every memorable detail of Dickens' A Christmas Carol springs to life, from spine-chilling ghosts to heartfelt renditions of traditional British carols. Crotchety Scrooge, lovable Tiny Tim, and all the fascinating characters that audiences have come to love make Charles Dickens' enchanting story a treasured holiday event.
