Milton —On Saturday, Dec. 2, the Jefferson Arts Committee will host the second annual “Christmas in the Village” event, which will once again take place in the Village of Milton, in the vicinity of Milton Road and Dover-Milton Road in the Milton/Oak Ridge section of Jefferson Township from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This exciting event involves organizations, churches, and individuals from the entire municipality. In addition to the all-day live entertainment events scheduled for both indoors and outdoors, holiday contests, demonstrations, raffles, food venues, and the arrival of Santa, the committee is planning to host a fine art and high quality craft show. Vendors of fine arts and high quality crafts will be presented with a local opportunity to display and sell the fruits of their artistic labors. The committee’s offering includes heated and secure indoor locations, convenient free parking, plenty of advance publicity, an easy-to-find area, and events planned throughout the day to draw people of all ages. An entry fee of $30 will allow an artist/crafter to reserve a 3-foot by 8-foot table area to display items. Those vendors of fine arts who are interested should contact Jill Moore at jillmoore@optonline.net or 697-2750. Vendors of high quality crafts should contact John Focacci at 697-2032 for an application. For more information on all the day’s events, call Christine Williams at 697-8675.
