“Great Pumpkin” to visit Bubbling Springs October 28

Calling all children and friends of the “Great Pumpkin”: you are invited to participate in the West Milford Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Halloween Parade and Jack-O-Lantern Contest to be held at Bubbling Springs Lake on Saturday, Oct. 28. Participation is limited to West Milford residents only and is for children up to sixth grade. Pre-register at the Parks and Recreation Office in Hillcrest Community Center beginning Oct. 18 between the hours of 8:30 and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Registration at Bubbling Springs on the day of the parade will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. only — no registrations will be accepted after 11 a.m. This year, “John Foley’s Radar Rangers” will perform at 11 a.m. and the parade will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. Refreshments will be available. All proceeds will benefit the Teen Coffee House.
