Sparta - “Parents Choice Award” winners Greg & Steve will perform “Ready ...Set ...Move!” at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, at the McNiece Auditorium, Sussex County Technical School, 105 North Church Rd., Sparta. The concert, presented by Child & Family Resources (CFR), is geared toward children between the ages of three and nine and their parents. Proceeds from the event — the duo’s only East Coast performance in 2005 — will benefit CFR’s education, violence and abuse prevention services in New Jersey. Greg & Steve’s recordings are widely used by preschool and early childhood educators across the country to teach both basic skills and important themes such as cooperation, friendship, diversity and preserving the environment. Greg Scelsa and Steve Millang have been educating, motivating, entertaining, and inspiring children since 1975. With more than four million recordings sold to date, they are currently the number-one selling children’s music duo. Tickets purchased in advance are $15 for reserved, $20 for preferred, seating. A $3 surcharge will be added to the cost of each ticket purchased at the door. For tickets or information, 877-725-8849 (toll free) or visit online at childandfamily-nj.org.
