Heritage council presents ‘Images of Summer'

Newton-The Images of Summer exhibit has opened at the the Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council's Arts Center Gallery at 9 Moran St. in Newton. The show runs Aug. 2-30, with an opening First Friday reception from 5-8 p.m. on Aug. 6. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9-8 on Fridays, and noon-5 on Saturdays and Sundays. Friday's reception is sponsored by ABCODE Security of Newton. The public is invited to attend the reception to meet and greet the artists and for wine, soft drinks and appetizers. This event is free to the public.
