High School singers perform abroad

VERNON-Students from the Vernon High School choirs traveled to Europe during their spring break in April. The trip began with a performance for the parents in Newark's Sacred Heart Basilica. Seventy students, along with 10 chaperones and 20 parents, toured London and Paris. The group "Close Harmony" performed at the theme park Alton Towers in London, and at Disneyland, Paris. The symphonic choir performed at Southwark Cathedral in London, and Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
