Jeanie Perugino and Jeanne Parrella with some of the trees that will be auctioned in the Festival of Trees. More than 30 beautifully decorated Christmas trees donated by the merchants of Olde Lafayette Village and Sussex County will be up for auction from Dec. 1 through Dec. 9 from 10.00 a.m.- 4.30 p.m. daily. The auction will benefit Pass It Along, a non-profit organization located in Sparta dedicated to providing services to those in need by volunteers in a variety of hands-on community service projects. The focus of Pass It Along is to inspire, mobilize and lead volunteers to service projects in which individuals pass along their gifts to meet the critical needs of the community so that no one goes uncared for, unwanted or unloved. The silent auction will be held at the Olde Lafayette Village in Building J (directly behind the Village Hall). The bidding will start between $100-150 depending on size of the tree. Fresh wreaths and garlands will also be available for sale. For more information, call 973-383-8323. For additional pictures, Visit our Photo Gallery.
