Holiday gift exhibit at Arts and Heritage Gallery opens with Zervas' music

Newton — The Sussex County Arts and Heritage Gallery, 9 Moran St., presents “Artistic Gifts - Affordable Art for the Holidays,” an exhibit that will begin on Saturday, Dec. 2 and run through Saturday, Jan. 27. One-of-a-kind creative works, by local and regional artists, will include photography, oils, acrylics, jewelry and pottery. The complimentary Wine and Cheese Reception from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, will feature music by guitarist Glenn Zervas, whose music features complex original guitar pieces strong on melody and harmony. He will also perform some holiday favorites. The public is invited to come out to meet the artists, enjoy beverages and appetizers, and shop for affordable, unique holiday gifts. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The mission of the Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council is to foster and promote the artistic and cultural vitality of Sussex County.
