Holiday open house

Montague — The Montague Association for Restoration of Community History (MARCH) will hold its Holiday Open House, at the Foster-Armstrong House at 320 River Rd. between 1 and 4 p.m., on Dec. 2 and 3 (weather permitting). The Foster-Armstrong house is situated within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Costumed docents will give tours of the rooms decorated for the holidays and filled with things of yesteryear. Handmade crafts, homemade baked goods, refreshments, and books/gifts will be offered for sale. Antique tinware will be displayed, along with other vintage items, so visitors can feel they have stepped back in time. If he can get away from the North Pole, Santa will make a visit on Sat. Dec. 2., to allow for photos. No admission fee charged. Donations help MARCH maintain two historic sites. Visit www.montaguenj.org/march/Home for more information.
