Irish Step classes return to local studio

Hamburg — Jenni Wellman returns to Dance Expression in Hamburg to present workshop classes in Irish Step beginning on March 2. Wellman trained in Irish Step starting at age 5 and performed and competed In Irish Step dancing for 15 years. During her performance career she received numerous awards and was selected to perform at Radio City Music Hall along side the legendary Chieftains. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Dance from Richard Stockton College in 2000 and graduated with Program Distinction. Her credits include performing and choreographing for the Stockton Dance Company. One of her proudest moments was performing in the Gala Concert at the American College Dance Festival and at the legendary Judson Church in New York City. Wellman is also an Alumni of County College of Morris. She was an active member of the CCM Dance Company and received the Dance Award for Dedication in 1997 and The Performer/Choreography Award in 1998. She has since returned to her Alma-mater, County College of Morris, as an Artist in Residence for a semester. Wellman currently works for TV host Maury Povich and she is very excited to be teaching again for Dance Expression.
